1. About this website

Delvigne Lab is the customary academic name of a research team at Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech, University of Liège (ULiège). It is not a company or a legal entity separate from the University of Liège.

The website presents the team's research activities, members, publications, projects and collaborations with academic, public and private-sector partners.

3. Privacy and cookies

This is an informational website. It does not provide visitor accounts, a contact form, newsletter registration or online purchasing. Delvigne Lab does not intentionally use advertising trackers, behavioural profiling tools or non-essential tracking cookies.

Technical data required to deliver and secure the website may nevertheless be processed by the hosting infrastructure, including server-log information such as IP address, date and time of access, requested resource and browser information.

If non-essential cookies or tracking technologies are introduced in the future, the website will provide the information and consent mechanism required by applicable law before they are activated.

4. Third-party services

The website may use OpenFreeMap to display the laboratory location and OpenAlex to retrieve or update public bibliographic information about scientific publications.

Loading the interactive map requires the visitor's browser to connect to infrastructure used by OpenFreeMap. According to OpenFreeMap's current privacy policy, it does not use cookies or tracking technologies and does not log IP addresses by default; temporary IP logging may be enabled for a maximum of 30 days when necessary to investigate security incidents or misuse.

News articles may embed YouTube or Vimeo videos. YouTube videos are loaded using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which limits the use of cookies for viewers who do not play the video. This mode does not mean that no data is transmitted: loading the video player still requires the visitor's browser to connect to YouTube/Google (or Vimeo) infrastructure, which may process technical information such as the IP address.

5. Personal data and team members

Professional information about team members, such as names, photographs, functions, biographies, research interests and links to academic profiles, may be published for the presentation of the team's academic and research activities.
